The Prevention and Wellness Department receives contract funds from the Wyoming Department of Family Services to provide assistance to both youth in out-of-home placement situations, who are preparing to transition to adulthood, as well as youth 18-21 who
have already left out-of-home placement and need assistance. Through life skills training, education, housing, and employment support, this project routinely serves over 50 youth in the Big Horn Basin - over three times the anticipated average. In addition, this project serves to advocate for foster youth and juvenile justice reform within the State of Wyoming.
