West Park Hospital Wellness Hike
Members of the public are invited to join WPH staff for the first in a series of summer community wellness events.The first event will be a hike through Shoshone Canyon, along the Bureau of Reclamation road. The walk is four miles round trip and is paved the entire way. We will meet at 1 p.m. in the parking lot between the cancer center and Cedar Mountain Center and carpool because of limited parking at the site. Prostate Cancer Screening
Dr. Gregory Stewart and West Park Hospital are teaming up to make a complete and affordable prostate cancer screening available from 8 a.m.-noon at WPH's Outpatient Services department. Discounted PSAs ($22) will be offered the day of at the screening or bring your PSA results from a recent test or health fair. The exam by Dr. Stewart is free. National Cancer Survivor’s Day Celebration 2010 - A Celebration of Life
An ice-cream social sponsored by West Park Hospital from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on the Park County Library lawn. Free and open to the public. This is not a fundraiser, but rather a local version of an annual, worldwide Celebration of Life that is held in hundreds of communities throughout the United States, Canada and other participating countries. Participants unite in a symbolic event to show the world that life after a cancer diagnosis can be meaningful and productive.
