The Meadowlark Room is at the end of the hallway on the left in the west wing of the Acute Care Unit (third floor).
It is a large room that includes a couch and several lounge chairs, a large dining table and a smaller children's table, a large flat-screen TV with DVD player, a complement of DVDs, some puzzles and games, a fish tank and a computer with Internet access.
In addition, a full kitchen is attached, including a microwave, fridge and freezer, sink, range and oven. The kitchen is not stocked with food or utensils, so families will need to bring their own if they wish to cook a meal.
Families and visitors are welcome to use the Meadowlark Room at any time to nap, pass time, cook a meal, watch movies or use the Internet.
